Venture Rocket Eurasia is launching Demo Day as part of the Venture Investment School, an online educational initiative organized jointly with the Fintech Hub of the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC), the American-Russian venture fund Starta Ventures and the Qazangels business angels club.
Demo Day is the final stage of the Venture Investment School that will take place on June 15 at 17:00–19:00 Nur-Sultan time. The event will be in the form of a free online workshop:
-Presentation of startups (5 projects with retail, Saas, fintech and agrotech industries);
-Analysis of key metrics and indicators;
-Practical analysis of investment opportunities with invited investors;
-Networking;
-Presentation of the Venture Rocket Eurasia platform.
During the event, registered attendees will be able to evaluate technology startups, along with guest judges - investors as Anuar Seifullin, head of Qazangels; Robin Butler, Chief Investment Officer at London-based investment company Sturgeon Capital; Ruslan Rakymbay, Investment Director of Quest Ventures, a leading venture fund for technology companies in Central Asia; Alim Khamitov, chairman of the board and co-founder of the venture fund and accelerator MOST Ventures; Mikhail Shatrov, head of the marketing and scouting department at the Internet Initiatives Development Fund (IIDF) and others.
