The head of Binance, the world's largest crypto exchange, Changpeng Zhao made a visit to the Astana International Financial Center (AIFC), during which he got acquainted with its activities, as well as the history of the creation of the AIFC jurisdiction based on the principles and norms of common law.
Binance is showing great interest in the Kazakh market as a crypto hub for the entire region.
In October 2021, Binance registered as an AIFC Participant and is currently undergoing the authorization procedure with the Astana Financial Services Authority (AFSA) to obtain a license to trade in digital assets or a crypto exchange.
AFSA has become a regional pioneer in the adoption of a regulatory framework for the development of digital assets, which makes the AIFC a unique platform that brings together trusted participants in the crypto industry.
